Our Commitment

Blyxo is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. As a platform that helps organisations find and fix accessibility issues, we hold ourselves to the same standards we help our users achieve.

We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Blyxo strives to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We regularly audit our own platform using the same scanning technology we provide to our users.

Standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA

Status: Partially conformant — we are actively working to achieve full conformance.

Technologies

Accessibility of Blyxo relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

  • HTML
  • WAI-ARIA

Measures to Support Accessibility

Blyxo takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Include accessibility as part of our development process and internal design reviews
  • Use our own accessibility scanning tools to test every release
  • Provide keyboard navigation support throughout the application
  • Use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes where appropriate
  • Maintain sufficient colour contrast ratios across the interface
  • Provide text alternatives for non-text content
  • Support screen reader users with meaningful labels and landmarks

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility of Blyxo, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

  • Third-party content: Some embedded components such as the Swagger UI API documentation may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We provide alternative documentation formats where possible.
  • Interactive charts and visualisations: Some data visualisations in scan reports may have limited screen reader support. We provide tabular data alternatives alongside charts.
  • PDF reports: Generated PDF reports are being improved for accessibility. We are working to ensure all exported documents meet PDF/UA standards.
